Support, Education and Learning For Families (SELFF) Workshops
SELFF workshops at Camp Pendleton are offered monthly for EFMP family members, parents, caretakers and providers. Topics include:

- Special Needs Trusts

Parent-to-Parent Peer Mentor Training
Hosted by Project Pendleton and the Camp Pendleton EFMP, this program is a self- help peer mentoring training program that builds relationships and provides feeling-focused support for military families who have a child with a disability.
Training Components:
- Understanding grief
- Listening skills
- Positive communication
- Disability

SemperFi-Kids IEP Parent Training Series
Specific to parents of children with special needs and designed to take the confusion out of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process through a better understanding of special education guidelines, policies and procedures. EFMP caseworkers can provide individual consultations to parents. This workshop is highly recommended prior to caseworkers attending a child's IEP meeting.
