Military Academic Skills Program

The Military Academic Skills Program (MASP) is an on-duty education program. This no-cost program is being offered to all active duty personnel, dependents, and civilians aboard Camp Pendleton and can be used to help refresh basic math and English skills. The MASP class which begins 27 May is already full.  The next class with space available begins on 7 July and ends 1 August 2008. These classes are very popular and fill up quickly. Seats are limited so students are encouraged to reserve a spot early.

The classes are designed primarily for students who have a GT of 99 or below, or who scored at grade level 10.2 or below on the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) exams.

Military students who want to use Tuition Assistance (TA) and score below a grade 10.2 on the (TABE) test are required to finish this class before using TA.

For more information please contact the JEC MASP coordinator, Janet Kaemmerling, at 725-6660.
