Fitness
The Camp Pendleton Fitness Department is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles to authorized patrons aboard the base. The professionally trained staff provides a wide variety of programs and services. The Semper Fit Paige Fieldhouse is one of the largest in the Marine Corps. There are 13 fitness centers on base, each offering it’s own program and targeting specific needs.

The High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) program’s primary purpose is to enhance operational fitness levels and optimize combat readiness and resiliency for the active duty United States Marine. The HITT program focuses on enhancing athleticism for today’s warrior athlete – The United States Marine.

Events
On-Going - The Fitness Centers host a variety of events throughout the year including Group "X" excise, Massage Therapy, Pendleton Cup Events, High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT), HITT Training Areas, Health Expos, Injury Prevention Clinics and Recreational Sports Competitions.
Combat Training (
pdf 2mb ) - Check out the course schedule for the two-Day Semper Fit Headquarters Marine Corps Training Course focusing on combat fitness and the High Intensity Tactical Training Program (HITT). Course includes hands-on training for TRX, Olympic lifting, kettlebells, dynamic movements and more. A certificate of completion is given to all participants. Active Duty Registration Only.

Nutrition and Fitness for BCP (

One-Day course focusing on the fundamentals of eating and training to lose weight. Participants will learn how to help their BCP Marines with planning their diet and exercise program for life-long weight loss. Topics will include nutrient needs, healthy weight loss, fitness for weight loss, exercise and diet myths, supplements, and practical sessions. A certificate of completion will be given to all participants. Bring PT Gear for a workout. Lunch on your own.

Services
Group Exercise Classes
Free at selected Fitness Centers. Gut Cut, Survival Cycle, Cardio Kickbox, Combat Fitness Training, Forever Fit, Zumba Warrior Training and Yoga. Special unit PTs available upon request. Martial arts training from experienced Black Belt instructors. Classes include Tae Kwon Do. Info: (760) 763-4070
Massage Therapy
Methods include: Swedish, Passive Joint, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Shiatsu. Hot Stone available for an additional fee. Available at 14 Area, Hospital and 22 Area Fitness Centers. Info: (760) 763-4070

Health Promotion
The Paige Fieldhouse and 53 Area Fitness Center each have a Health Promotion Center. A one-stop shop for health resources, Programs include cholesterol testing, health risk assessments, nutrition counseling, smoking cessation programs, blood pressure screening, resting metabolic rate testing, fitness information and more.
