Respite Programs

NACCRRA RESPITE

National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies provides respite care to  EFMP eligible military families assigned to Camp Pendleton and the greater San Diego area. This care helps families with children with special needs by providing a few hours of respite (a break) each week so they can leave the house, go to an appointment, or just rest, while knowing their child is well cared for. Contact (800) 424-2246 and visit www.naccrra.org/MilitaryPrograms/EFMP

INSTALLATION RESPITE

Camp Pendleton EFMP families utilize this respite program if they would like to select the childcare provider themselves such as a family member or neighbor. This is an alternative respite program that also provides several hours of care for the EFM child and their siblings so parents can enjoy a break. Please contact the EFMP offices to find out more about this benefit.
