Homecoming Support
The MCCS Camp Pendleton team working closely with 1st Marine Expeditionary
Force Family Readiness Officer, will provide homecoming support to Units
returning from OIF, OEF and UDP's which is coordinated through MCCS
Operations.

Call your MCCS Coordinator to arrange Homecoming Support.



The following support is provided:

Decorations:

Flags, Streamers, Colored table cloths, Crayons and butcher paper for the
children

Banners:

1 banner for each unit with the unit name need to order early to ensure MCCS
has enough time to make the banner. The banner must be returned to MCCS
Operations for storage in between events.

Helium and Balloons:

The MCCS Coordinator will provide a helium tank, nozzle, balloons (1 bag
each of red, white, and blue) and ribbon. The unit must return the helium
tank, nozzle and any leftover supplies to the MCCS Coordinator to be used
for future events.

Astro Jumps:

MCCS will reserve an astro jump from Recreation Check-out. The command is
responsible for picking up and dropping off the astro jump to Recreation
Check-out.

Snacks and Drinks:

Food and Hospitality will provide cookies and refreshments for returning
Marines.

What We Need From You


MCCS Operations will need the following information when you contact them
for return and reunion support:



1. Number of Marines and Sailors Returning

Do not factor in the estimated number of family members, MCCS provides enough supplies at a rate of 1 to 2, so if you have 100 people returning, they will give you enough supplies to support 200 people.

2. Date of the return



3. MCCS needs a minimum of 1 week notice prior to the return.

Commands are responsible for requesting return and reunion support from the MCCS Coordinator. MCCS will work with the unit FRO, or designated unit POC.
