Parents as Teachers-Heroes at Home
Parents as Teachers-Heroes at Home is a voluntary program available to military families at Camp Pendleton who are either expecting a child or have a child ages 0-36 months. Parent Educators will provide families with a home visit each month to discuss their child’s intellectual, emotional, social, and motor development. Other components of the program include developmental screenings and a wide resource network available to help busy military families find other programs and resources that meet their needs. Families will also be given the opportunity to participate in play groups and parent discussions.
