ANXIETY

Excessive worry and panic can find its way into our lives for any number of reasons or circumstances. According to the medical research, about 4 million adult Americans have experienced symptoms that meet the definition of anxiety. Some might feel irritated at seemingly small events while others might experience feeling continuously exhausted by daily routine.

Here is a list of some of the most common reactions to heightened anxiety:

  • Excessive, ongoing worry and tension
  • An unrealistic view of problems
  • Restlessness or feeling of being on guard
  • Muscle tension
  • Racing Heartbeat
