14 Area (Lap Swimming) Pool: Mon-Wed-Fri 0600-1400, Tues & Thurs 9:30-1730, Sat 1000 -1500, Sun: Closed. (Open year-round and the pools are heated)

Swim Lessons
Private Lessons

Cost: $60 for 4 sessions. Each session is 30 min. long.

Class description: Ages 5+. The instructor will provide instruction according to participant's desires. The classes are designed to work on stroke development, refinement, or any other specific aquatic desires. It is not a swim team. This is a private lesson, one on one.
Aqua Aerobics Classes
Where: 14 Area Pool
When: M, W, F from 0930-1030
Cost: Free
On rainy and/or stormy days this class is cancelled. This class is a non-impact and non-weight bearing class held in a heated outdoor pool. There will be a warm-up and cardio vascular workot followed by strength training using aqua equipment. this class is great for all levels. For more information call (760) 763-4070
Pendleton Youth Swim Club
Where: 14 Area Pool
When: Tues and Thurs
Tme: 1715-1830 May-September 2008
Cost: Free
Qualifications: Children (ages 6 and up) should have a basic knowledge of each stroke with rhythmic breathing. Must be able to swim 100 meters without stopping and have a willingness to learn. Children will learn to swim more consecutive laps and work on all of the details of proper swimming techniques. The goal for this program is to have fun, attain a structured workout and increase endurance.

Lifeguard Hours of Operation
Peak Summer Season:0800-1900 Del Mar and San Onofre Beaches
Portable towers will be open and routine patrols will take place.
Fall/Spring:
Lifeguards are on duty at Del Mar and San Onofre Beaches from the start
of day light savings time until mid June. Lifeguards resume 0800-1800
hours after Labor Day until the end of daylight savings time.
Winter
Season: Lifeguards are on duty at Del Mar and San Onofre from
0800-1600, (late October through early April). A lifeguard unit will
routinely patrol the area during these times. Rules of the beach:
