Career Services offers information and assistance to aid military Service Members, retirees, Veterans, DoD Civilian employees and their family members in their career planning and job search endeavors.

The Career Centers offer comprehensive information and resource services at two on base locations: Marine & Family Programs / Bldg 13150 and Leatherneck Lanes Bldg 1339

Airstreams Renewables

Airstreams is a 7 week course that trains Service Members to become Energy and Communication Tower Technicians. This course uses a portion of the Service Member’s GI Bill. This course is open to Active Duty.

Archi’s Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (AISA)

AISA is a 6 week course which focuses on small scale farming, hydroponics, and agribusiness course. This course uses a portion of Service Members GI Bill and is open to Active Duty and Spouses.

BMW Military Service Technician Education Program (MSTEP)

MSTEP is a free 16 week training course toward becoming a BMW Service Technician. This course is open to Active Duty.

Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program (CFP)

CFP is a 12 week course which offers free mid-to-senior level internships in the Southern California region. Service Member must have at minimum an associate’s degree. This course is open to Active Duty.

Home Builder’s Institute (HBI)

HBI is a free 12-week electrical pre-apprenticeship certification training course conducted in Poway, CA.

Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA)

MSSA is a 19 week course has 3 track options: Server and Cloud Administration (networking), Cloud Development (coding), and Cyber Security. These tracks use a portion of the Service Members GI Bill and is open to Active Duty.

Onward to Opportunity (O2O)

O2O is a free program offering industry specific training, credentials, and job placement services. This is a hybrid program (3 days in classroom and 90 days online) that offers a professional certification course with two pathway options: Information Technology and Business Management. This course is open to Active Duty and Spouses. PTAD is only authorized for the 3 days in classroom portion of this cohort.
