We now accept cancellations and modification requests to existing reservations via email. Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. A Guest Services Agents will contact you within 48 hours.
Q: Does Del Mar Beach & Marina have seasonal rates?
A: Yes, we have summer and winter rates. Our summer season is from April 1st-October 31st and our winter season is from November 1st –March 31st.
Q: When is payment required to guarantee a reservation?
A: A deposit of one night’s rent is due upon making each reservation. The remaining balance is due in full, 14 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. If payment is not processed successfully by 6:00pm the following business day, your reservation will be cancelled. (No Exceptions).
Q: Up to what day can I cancel or modify my reservation(s) without penalty?
Cancellations/modifications made to reservations between 30 – 15 days prior to arrival will result in the loss of the deposit of one night’s stay. Modifications to reservations will not be accepted 14 days or less prior to arrival. If patrons wish to modify their reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival, the ENTIRE reservation must be canceled and a cancellation fee of one night (deposit) will be applied.
Q: What size RV can you accommodate?
A: All of our sites can accommodate up to a 42ft RV.
Q: Do you have water, sewage and electrical hook ups?
A: Yes, all 5 of our RV/Campsite rows have full hook up capabilities.
Q: What is authorized per campsite?
A: One campsite is authorized one RV or one Travel Trailer/Camper, plus two vehicles and one 4- man tent or one 10×10 pop up tent. If no RV or Travel Trailer is present, two tents and two vehicles are authorized.
Q: Is there a designated area for tent camping?
A: No, we do not have a designated area for tent camping, it is mixed in with the RV parking.
Q: How many people are authorized per campsite?
A: You are authorized to have a maximum of 8 people per campsite.
Q: Per military sponsor how many campsites can I book during the summer months?
A: During our summer months which consist of April 1 – October 31 you can book two campsites per military sponsor.
Q: Per military sponsor how many campsites can I book during the winter months?
A: During our winter months which consist of November 1 – March 31 you can book 5 campsites per military sponsor.
Q: How long am I authorized to stay during your summer months?
A: During our summer months you can stay up to 30 days. You can stay in one campsite for up to 15 days and you will be required to move to another campsite for the remaining 15 days, depending on availability.
Q: How long am I authorized to stay during your winter months?
A: During our winter months you can stay up to 60 days if available. You can only stay in one campsite for up to 30 days and if available you will be required to move to another campsite for the remaining 30 days, if available.
Q: Do all your campsites have a fire pit and a grill?
A: The first row comes equipped with a fire pit and a charcoal grill. The second and third rows come equipped with just a fire pit but no charcoal grill. The fourth and fifth rows do not come equipped with a fire pit or a charcoal grill due to Marine Corps Order.
Q: Are pets allowed at the resort?
A: Yes, pets are allowed at our facility. You can bring a max of up to 2 pets. All dogs are required to be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. They must be supervised at all times. Pets are not authorized to be on the beach or in the ocean.
Q: What time do quiet hours begin?
A: Quiet hours at our facility are from 10:00pm to 6:00am.
Q: Can we bring charcoal grills to the beach?
A: Due to safety concerns, charcoal grills are not authorized on the beach. We only authorize propane/gas grills.
Q: What time is check in and check out?
A: Check in is any time after 1:00pm. Check out is by 11:00am.
Q: How many parking passes can I receive for my campsite?
A: Each guest is provided with 2 parking passes per site. If you have an RV/Trailer/Camper, 1 is designated for your RV/Trailer/Camper and 1 additional vehicle. If you do not have an RV/Trailer/Camper both passes are for 2 vehicles.
Q: Is there a dump station for my RV?
A: Each RV campsite comes equipped with sewer hookups, however there is not a central dump station for the park.
Q: If I rent an RV from a company, are they allowed to deliver the RV to the campsite?
A: Yes, you are more than welcome to have an outside vendor deliver your RV to your site, as long it is any time after 1:00pm (check in time). We do have a beach map at the front desk that we can provide to the vendor to direct them to the campsite; however, due to security reasons we are not authorized to provide your personal information. It is the military sponsor’s responsibility to provide this information to the vendor after check in with Guest Services.
Q: If my guest arrives to the resort before I do at the time of check-in, can my guest check-in?
A: Unfortunately, guests of the military sponsor are not authorized to check into our facility. The military sponsor or spouse that holds a valid military ID card is required to be present upon check in. They must be prepared to show proof of eligibility for their rate and the credit card used to secure the reservation (Active Duty, Retired, Reservist, or DoD Military ID required). The military sponsor is required to be on site at all times for the duration of the stay.
Q: Are you able to tell my guest the campsite number if they call?
Q: Is there Wi-Fi available and if so, if there a fee?
A: Yes, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi in the Cottages and RV Campsites.
Q: Where can I purchase firewood?
A: Firewood can be purchased at our Guest Services Department which is open 24 hours 7 days a week. We charge $5.00 per bundle. Unfortunately, we no longer deliver firewood. If firewood is desired guests must come to Guest Services.
Q: Do you have a laundromat located on site?
A: Yes, there is a coin-operated laundromat located in front of our main parking lot.
Q: What is located inside the new building on the beach?
A: Our newly built event facility La Casa Del Mar has two event rooms to host weddings, retirements, birthday parties and alike events. Beach Services which is located inside La Casa Del Mar is a one stop shop where you can purchase beach supplies, snacks, beverages and rent beach equipment as well. On the beach side Ramones Mexican BBQ has a cantina bar that serves food and drinks 7 days a week.
Q: Can I book for the July 4th holiday during the normal reservations window?
A: The July 4th process begins at 0800 and the date varies each calendar year. Please contact our Guest Services Department at 760 725 2134 for further details.
Q: Are Campsite numbers provided or assigned prior to arrival?
A: Campsite numbers are provided to guests upon check in.
